Roses are red, Violets are blue, Our Valentine’s day was romantic, we hope yours was too!
Love was in the air for Valentine’s Day with the residents celebrating the day with card making, love songs, roses, and of course chocolate!
The residents had an indulgent party for Valentine’s Day with freshly baked treats and sweets. We had a beautiful spread of scones, butterfly cakes, profiteroles, petit fours, mud cakes, heart shaped biscuits all accompanied with strawberries and sparkling wine.
Roses and petals adorned the tables with heart shaped chocolates. Our residents all sat down to this romantic setting and exchanged cards. We even had a Valentines Quiz and Famous Couples Trivia, where residents were able to win even more chocolates!
Roses were the flavour of the day – but even more popular were the chocolate covered strawberry bouquets made by staff for the occasion.
