From September through November, our residents experienced spectacular entertainment, meaningful commemorations, birthday celebrations, and countless moments that make Holmwood aged care a vibrant home.

This spring brought special moments worth celebrating, from our moving Remembrance Day service and spectacular Halloween party to ballroom dancing performances, intergenerational visits with Nurture One kindy children, and recognition of long-serving staff members.

Spring 2025 Highlights

September Celebrations: Birthday celebrations for Coral, Mary, Ron, Joan, along with the Grand Final excitement, musical performances with Steph, and intergenerational programmes with local kindy children.

October Activities: Our spectacular Halloween party, gourmet dining experiences from our catering team, new pool table installation, animal rescue project progress, and birthday celebrations for James, Pauline, Milton, Rosemary, Hilary, and Jennifer.

November Highlights: Breathtaking ballroom and Latin dancing performances, our moving Remembrance Day service, gentle giants horse therapy with Riley and Horace, Healesville U3A Ukulele performances, staff recognition celebrating 10+ years of service, Virtual Reality Dementia training, spring garden walks, and Keith's birthday celebration.
